With TouchDesigner as my playground, I take source images and videos, either my own or found, and reshape the structure of their information. I am often combining many images, or reiterations of the same image numerous times. What I like most is pushing some information to its computational limit, and documenting the process. I am in defense of the poor image (footnote). Working with different source imagery that often is becoming during the process of other visual investigations, there is a certain language that develops between the parameter and its controller; whether an audio channel, facial tracking, or a sample of noise. It is exciting and is something I have enjoyed playing with since 2023. Though virtually performed, the manipulation of data resembles some physical process I haven't figured out yet, but intend to in the coming years.
